Having your site come up high in the search engines has never been easy. A critical element has always been a well-crafted search engine optimization plan and properly executed, measured and improved search engine placement goals.  The impact of Social Media on your sites' positions in Google, Yahoo, and Bing adds a whole new dimension to any brand's SEO strategy. This session will help you understand how Social Media is turning that whole discipline on its ear, from changing how people make buying decisions, to how the Search Engines monitor your brand's presence in the social sphere, and reward...or penalize you as a result.

If you blog (and don't know what canonicalization means), maintain a Facebook page, Tweet or don't have a Google Plus account, what you don't know CAN hurt you. This is a session you need to attend.

Katie Fleming has been head Search Engine Specialist at Trivera Interactive in suburban Milwaukee, WI for 10 years. Previous to joining Trivera, Katie was the Internet Marketing Manager for Funjet Vacations/ Mark Travel Corporation where she was responsible for the overall strategic direction and marketing programs for multiple e-commerce travel web sites for Funjet Vacations, TransGlobal Vacations, Adventure Tours USA, and Mountain Vacations. Internet sales, guest book signups and site traffic all grew substantially under her watch. Prior to that, Katie was Web Administrator for the Falk Corporation.

Cory Ampe is Trivera's newest member to the client services and account management teams. As Client Services Director, Cory's primary duty is to make sure all aspects of a client's digital marketing plan are working in harmony. SEO and Social media are often at the heart of that effort. Cory has worked in marketing for more than 16 years. She began her career as a magazine editor where she honed her writing and storytelling skills. On the client side, she's worked for a large financial institution, a satellite-based internet infrastructure service provider and a business-to-business media company. In her agency work, she worked with clients of all sizes -- from non-profit NGOs to leading brands such as Johns Hopkins Medicine and Miller Brewing Co. -- to bolster brands and engage and convert coveted audiences.
