Viral Video using YouTube and other Media sharing sites and tools

Blake Samic

Afternoon Breakout Session 1:15 – 2:00 PM
July 29, 2009, Italian Conference Center, Milwaukee, WI

Video provides you with an opportunity to build your brand, promote your business, attract new customers and accelerate the sales process. Sharing video online via Social Media adds that extra chance that your brand will “go viral.” While it creates the opportunity for your video to become the next Susan Boyle or a dog saying "I Love You," the chance of that actually happening is as unlikely as a lottery win. But even if you don't hit that video jackpot, there still is great value in adding your brand's videos into the Social Media mix. This session will present those opportunities, and give you the step by step instructions to shoot, edit and upload your videos.

But the viral video sword cuts both ways. Ask United Airlines, Burger King and Domino's! We'll also show you what happens when a video that harms your brand goes viral, and what you should do if that happens to you.
